EMPOWERING SEN YOUTH

At The Bronte, everyone’s welcome and everybody belongs.

We believe accessibility goes beyond just physical spaces, it’s about making sure everyone can take part. Whether that’s joining a programme, popping along to an event or simply spending time with friends. We’re working hard to make the centre as easy as possible to enjoy, so that nothing stands in the way of you having a great time.

ACCESSIBLE IN EVERY WAY

Getting around The Bronte? Easy. Our building is fully wheelchair accessible, with level entry straight from the street and wide doorways that make coming and going a breeze. If you need to head upstairs, that’s no problem too. We’ve got a lift to help you move between floors with ease. And for extra conveniences, there’s an accessible parking spot right by the front door so you’re never too far from the action.

Simple, smooth and designed with everyone in mind.

We’ve thought about the little things and the important ones too. Inside The Bronte, you’ll find accessible restrooms and spacious event and meeting rooms that are easy to navigate with wheelchairs and mobility aids. Need a moment of calm? We’ve also created a dedicated sensory room, a peaceful and welcoming space designed for anyone who needs a quiet break.

NAVIGATION

We’re here to help you find your way in every sense of the word. Getting around The Bronte is easy thanks to our clear, large-print signage designed to be easy to read. We’ve also added Braille to key signs to support visitors with visual impairments.

For those with hearing impairments, we’ve got your back too. Need a hearing loop, subtitles, printed materials or assistive listening devices for an event? Just give us a heads-up and we’ll do our best to make it happen.
