EMPOWERING SEN YOUTH

At The Bronte, we’re passionate about creating a space where everyone feels welcome and included. We understand that accessibility isn’t just about physical access, but about making sure everyone can enjoy what we offer, whether it’s joining in a programme, attending an event, or simply spending time with others. Our aim is to make the centre as accessible as possible, so everyone can take part with ease.

ACCESSIBLE IN EVERY WAY

Our building is fully wheelchair accessible, with level entry points from the street and wide doorways that make it simple to get inside. We also have a lift to help you move between floors, so you can access all areas of the centre, no matter your mobility needs. For added convenience, there’s an accessible parking space right by the main entrance, making it easy for you to park and come in.

Inside

Inside, we’ve made sure there are accessible restrooms, and our event spaces and meeting rooms are all designed to comfortably accommodate those using wheelchairs or mobility aids. We also have a dedicated sensory room, designed for people with additional needs as a quiet and calming space to relax.

NAVIGATION

To help with navigation, we’ve made sure our signage is clear, large, and easy to read. For anyone with visual impairments, we’ve added Braille on key signs around the centre. We’re also committed to supporting people with hearing impairments. If you need assistive listening devices during an event, or if you’d like a hearing loop, subtitles, or printed materials, just let us know in advance, and we’ll do our best to provide what you need.

SERVICE ANIMALS

We’re also happy to welcome service animals at The Bronte. We simply ask that they remain under control to help maintain a calm environment for everyone. Our friendly team is always here to assist you with anything else, whether it’s arranging for special seating, helping with language support, or addressing any other needs you may have.
