About us

Who we are

The Bronte has been the lifeblood of the Liverpool community for generations and we are here to ensure that future generations will benefit and enjoy our services. We provide a safe and welcoming environment where young people can have fun with their peers and try new activities.

As well as a youth provision, we are also a community centre providing crucial support and guidance to other members of communities.

The Bronte, the place to be

There’s always lots going on at The Bronte. You’ll find little kids crafting, older kids doing martial arts, parents laughing over coffee and people at work tapping away on their laptops. There might be a wedding reception in the main hall, bingo in the snug and tomorrow’s premiere league stars crashing into tackles on our sports pitch.

Our aim is to promote, build and maintain positive friendships, skills and confidence, empowering children and young people to fulfil their dreams and aspirations.

Promoting health & wellbeing

We deliver programmes and activities to tackle mental and physical health, deprivation and isolation for all ages. We are committed to empowering people to access the support they need to improve the quality of their life.

Sustainable in every sense

We strive for a sustainable future for The Bronte, and we’re not just talking about the environmental impact. Yes, that’s very important and eco-friendliness has been built into our new building, but the long-term economic sustainability of our club is vital too.

A pillar for the entire community

We operate from the original location of The Bronte, built in 1972, the only club right in the heart of Liverpool. Our centre is a small oasis in a concrete city, a beacon of hope and respite for our beneficiaries.
